The drive from Termales del Bosque to Caño Negro takes about two hours, offering scenic
changes from savannas with fields of sugar cone to orange groves. The three-hour drive from La
Fortuna back to San Jose, again allows the guest to savor varying alpine settings, among the
tropical mountains. We pride ourselves in having booked our guest into quality lodging facilities.
Well-Prepared meals will be in local restaurants, offering the guest a taste of the national cuisine.
Termales del Bosque is located in a pre-mountain forest. Featuring a mountain river cascading
through the forest, with natural hot water springs bordering the stream. Submerge yourself in the
therapeutic waters or enjoy the natural aromatic sauna before retiring for the night in a comfortable
cabin. Tabacón Spa in La Fortuna is another hot water Spa with natural hot mineral waters flowing
directly form below Arenal Volcano. For the evenings in La Fortuna our guests are treated to
Arenal Volcano under the stars to witness Nature's best pyrotechnic show.
